Online Education Resources

For families not comfortable with in-person education activities at this time, below you will find resources to use for at home family Christian education. Resources will only be made available for one month from the date posted.

Under each week you will find the leaders guide and the participates sheets. Why we did include a video with week 1, we realized after the fact that is was for the wrong unit.

There are four options for at home Sunday School, they are as follows:

  • Early Childhood (3K - Kindergarten)
(This level requires parents to pick up a book from the church office as it comes with stickers, for the little one) ,
  • Elementary (Grades 1st - 5th)
  • Adult Bible Study
  • One Room Classroom (this option can be utilized for all grade levels, along with parents)

For Confirmation & High School Bible Study - please contact the church office.

QUESTIONS ABOUT IN PERSON EDUCATION

FAQ:

What precautions are you taking?

As individual enter the building, they will be directed to sanitize their hands. We will also ask all children to please sanitize their hands at the start of Sunday School and throughout as needed.
All participants will be asked to wear a mask while in the building as they are able too. If a child is unable to wear a mask due to health reasons, that is understandable. We will be spacing the children to maintain social distancing.

If you are showing any signs of COVID-19, been directly expose to someone who is positive for COVID, or you have tested positive for COVID, we ask that you please refrain from worship & Sunday School

How big will the classes be?

Due to COVID-19 and the various responses from different families, we understand that many families are simply not ready to return to any type of educational setting, including Sunday School. With this in mind, we are anticipating smaller numbers from previous years. We plan on capping group sizes to no more then 10 per classroom. However, depending on numbers we may just divide into smaller groups in the fellowship hall and work as one unit.

Will my kid be required to wear a mask?

Our focus is on spiritual education, not on mask. However, in accordance with the governor's mask mandate, we are asking everyone to please wear a mask as they are able too. If someone is not wearing a mask, we will assume it is for health reasons, and not harass or threaten them.

Can we switch between at home and in-person?

Yes, we understand that the current state and within the realm of each family things can change not only from week to week, but also daily.  We do ask that you please contact us either via email or call the church office (contact info can be found at the bottom of the page) to let us know if this change is for more than a couple of weeks, this helps us with planning.

If I didn't register can I still attend in-person?

Yes, again as stated above - please just contact us. Or let us know when you show up that you will be attending.

Will the kids sing in church on Sunday mornings?

At this we are NOT planning on having the kids sing in church for worship.

Will there be a Children's Christmas Nativity Program this year?

Yes, we are hoping. However, it will not be like years past. We are planning on doing something different, that will be fun, unique and safe! Stay tune for details.
