Confirmation is a three-year program. Typically it begins in 6th grade and is completed by 8th grade. Year one of confirmation is focused on Bible Knowledge, digging into various stories of the Bible beginning in Genesis and making our way through the Old Testament into the New Testament.
Year two & three of confirmation focuses on the doctrine ("teaching") of the church. We use the confessions and the Bible as our teaching aid in understanding more clearly and dig deeper into such things as the 10 commandments, the Apostles Creed, the Lord's Prayer, Baptism, Confession, and the Lord's Prayer.
All classes meet on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour (10:30 - 11:30) during the school year. To learn more about confirmation please contact the church office.
